Wandering burial and Engraver by Seikame Wandering burial and Engraver by Seikame
:iconchar-designchallenge: N°13 & 14

"The result of too many restless spirits gathered within Pauper's graves can lead to odd manifestation. Sometime cufused with earth elemetals, those wandering burials crawl in order to relocate the bones into a proper graveyard. It happens that such agglomerate surge on funeral service buildings to accumulate necessary materials, spreading panic, but they're not really dangerous. Livings do not interests such manifestations."

Also, here's a tiny spooky skeleton, engraving carefully names on graves. Because I need to take some advance, haha.

For once I couldn't keep the same scale for every deviations in this challenge. I mean, the one including the ma'guda was already ridiculous, let's calm down a little, it's a freaking piece of land so let's unzoom it a bit.

See you next sunday !

Reminds me of an old monster in Dungeons and Dragons that was basically a giant walking graveyard golem. I definitely dig the idea of living terrain haha people don't usually give environments enough character on its own.

I think what's inspired me was the memory of an artwork like that, but I've never looked at DnD bestiary, so it's hard to confirm that connection. Maybe what I saw years ago was itself inspired from that monster, like common ancestors for design idea ~

I see what you did there with the dig word. Puns are evil. >:v

True 'bout environments, but they often end up as golem like creatures, even if some forms can be incredibly neat. I think I rather the reversal : creatures huge enough to be considered as environments, like aspidochelone things. =p

It's definitely not what I remembered but I did manage to track the old picture down:
bogleech.com/dnd/corpsegathere…

I much prefer the creatures being huge enough to be considered environments too when you put it like that haha

Oh hi fat graveyard ! D:

Think the one wandering in my brain is much smaller and croutching, but definitely human shaped especially its sad face. :/

Hehe, and you can always add golem-like environment manifestations on or inside those giant beasts ! ...oh, wait, that's Walking City's setting ! x')
